Job summary

Fountain Tire Nanaimo (4801 Wellington Road) is seeking a responsible, safe Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. This permanent, year-round role offers stable wages and the chance to build a long-term career with Fountain Tire.

Wages are competitive ($26–$31.50/hour) and we provide health, dental, and vision benefits, plus an RRSP program with company matching. You’ll develop your skills through our extensive training, work full-time daytime shifts, and have opportunities for overtime

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of tire experience in a professional setting.
• Previous experience with OTR tires is an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate, and repair truck, farm, industrial and OTR tires.
• Greet and communicate with customers on repair, service and tire sales.
• Maintain customer safety and safe work practices on the job.
• Contribute to a team environment and uphold quality standards.

Whatkind of person are we looking for?

• We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of tire experience in a professional setting

• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who willbe up for the challenge
