Job summary

Fountain Tire Thunder Bay is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to operate a Tire Service Truck and deliver top-notch on-site tire services. You’ll inspect, install, balance, rotate, and repair truck, farm, and industrial tires while providing professional customer service.

The role requires a valid driver's license, physical fitness, and willingness to be on call; training and benefits are provided. Competitive hourly wages from $22 to $26, with comprehensive health, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• Applicants with Farm, OTR, or Commercial tire experience preferred, but not required.
• A team player willing to take on any tire or any task.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract.
• This work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc., and we need someone up for the challenge.
• We need someone who can be on call after hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds if required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, farm or industrial tires and wheels.
• Operate a Tire Service Truck and provide on-site tire service.
• Deliver professional and friendly customer service while keeping safety as a priority.
• Maintain safe work practices to keep yourself and coworkers free from injury.
