Job summary

Altis is seeking a collaborative Property Manager to oversee a diverse mixed-use portfolio of light industrial and commercial office properties in Vancouver. The role focuses on tenant relations, vendor coordination, and financial performance, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and community wellbeing.

The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operations, manage operating/capital budgets, and mentor the team while ensuring lease compliance and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive commercial property management experience, including at least 2 years as a Commercial Assistant Property Manager.
• Must be licensed in Rental Property Management through the British Columbia Financial Services Authority (BCFSA).
• Experience developing and managing operating and capital budgets.
• Strong relationship-building, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading or mentoring team members is considered an asset.
• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi and Construction Manager is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism, flexibility, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a mixed-use commercial property portfolio while delivering exceptional tenant service.
• Build strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
• Oversee operating and capital budgets, approve purchase orders and invoices, and support the financial performance of the portfolio.

• Ensure compliance with lease obligations, corporate policies, environmental initiatives, and health and safety requirements.
• Conduct building inspections, oversee maintenance initiatives, and help implement new operational programs and sustainability initiatives.
