Woola Mech in Metro Vancouver is seeking an experienced Commercial Journeyperson Red Seal Plumbing Technician to join our Service Team. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems for commercial and industrial clients.

The role requires 5+ years as a Journeyperson, Red Seal, and a Class B Gas Ticket, with strong diagnostic skills, customer communication, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Journeyperson in commercial plumbing.
• Red Seal certification and Class B Gas Ticket required.
• Knowledge of current plumbing codes and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems for commercial/industrial clients.
• Navigate high-rise multi-tower complexes.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions for a range of equipment such as boilers and water heaters.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure system reliability.
• Keep accurate service and material records.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with customers, provide maintenance insights and updates.

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Journeyperson Red Seal Plumbing Technician to join our dedicated Service Team. If you have a passion for quality work, customer satisfaction, and a team-oriented spirit, this role is for you.

What You’ll Tackle:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Comfortable navigating high rise multi tower complexes.
• Diagnose issues accurately and recommend solutions for a range of equipment, including cooling towers, boilers, water heaters, pumps, and sump pumps.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing maintenance insights and timely service updates.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 5+ years as a Journeyperson Service Technician specializing in Commercial Plumbing.
• Red Seal Qualified: Plus a Class B Gas Ticket.
• Technical Knowledge: Current plumbing codes and hands‑on expertise with mechanical systems.
• Problem-Solver: Sharp diagnostic skills and quick decision-making.
• Driver’s License: Valid and clean record.
• Customer Skills: Excellent communication and focus on customer satisfaction.

Nice to Have:

• BCWWA Cross Connection ticket (an asset but not required).
