Job summary

Aplin seeks an experienced Commercial Paralegal in Alberta to independently manage commercial financing files for lenders and borrowers. You will collaborate with lawyers, clients, financial institutions and external stakeholders to ensure transactions close accurately and efficiently.

You’ll handle lending and borrower transactions from opening to closing, prepare loan and security documents, perform due diligence (Land Titles, PPR/PPSA, CORES), register and discharge security interests, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Paralegal experience in Alberta.
• Experience handling both lender and borrower commercial financing files.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta Land Titles, PPR/PPSA, and CORES.
• Ability to independently manage complex transactions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and client service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary:$70,000–$90,000, depending on experience.
