Job summary

Canada ICI Capital Corporation is seeking a Mortgage Analyst to join our Vancouver team. You will work in a collaborative environment to analyze commercial mortgage investments and support financial reporting for a range of real estate transactions.

You will evaluate investment quality using operating statements, rent rolls, and third-party reports, build proformas and cash flow models, and help manage the funding process while ensuring compliance and robust data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce with Finance/Economics/Math or MBA required.
• 1 year of CRE experience is an asset.
• Strong finance modeling including IRR, NPV, cash flows.
• Proficiency in Excel with advanced features.
• Excellent financial analysis and underwriting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast pace.
• Knowledge of Real Estate or Finance industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial mortgage investments with mortgage professionals.
• Evaluate investment quality via operating statements, rent rolls, and appraisals.
• Prepare proformas, cash flow models, and project underwriting.
• Share market data with the origination group from CMHC Data and other reports.
• Review third-party reports and summarize findings.
• Organize all project documentation and folders.
• Assist Origination team in structuring opportunities based on investment criteria.
• Coordinate funding process and ensure compliance documentation.
