Job summary

First National Financial LP in Calgary is seeking an Analyst II in the Commercial Financing group to support the mortgage portfolio. You will analyze financials, rent rolls, and supporting documents for CMHC and conventional real estate loans, ensuring compliance with lender and investor guidelines.

You will coordinate with funders, investors, legal teams, and third parties, develop pro forma construction forecasts, monitor loan draws, and assist in loan approvals.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and/or MBA with finance/real estate focus.
• Minimum 2 years in a related commercial real estate role.
• Knowledge of real estate lending regulations and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information on commercial properties to determine loan size, terms, and pricing.
• Review third-party reports to ensure compliance with investor requirements.
• Prepare loan summaries with financial analysis for loan approvals.
• Coordinate with funder, investor, legal, and consultants to meet loan conditions.
• Develop construction/development pro-forma for multi-unit housing projects.
