Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. We operate GO Transit, UP Express, and the PRESTO fare system, and are building new rapid transit projects including GO Expansion, Light Rail Transit, and subway expansions in Toronto. As an agency of the Government of Ontario, we aim to improve transit for everyone.

Our Legal Services office is seeking a Coordinator, Commercial Management to oversee contracts with Metrolinx’s corporate vendors.

What will I be doing?
  • Ensure due diligence in contract performance by providing documentation and interpreting contractual rights and obligations.
  • Create and maintain records such as invoices and supplier data, including data entry.
  • Assist in determining amounts owed to vendors based on field observations and reports.
  • Track changes in work under contracts and update budget projections.
  • Review vendor schedules against project progress.
  • Perform data analysis, create process maps, and develop databases using software tools.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports to support business needs.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and attend meetings, documenting minutes.
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?
  • Certificate in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure or transit projects is an asset.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to recommend and implement solutions.
  • Strong written and collaboration skills across departments.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Oracle E-Business Suite is an asset.
