What will you do?

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of Service Coordinators; set targets, monitor performance, conduct employee review meetings, and schedule formal training.
  • HR related actions such as vacation approval/scheduling.
  • Understand customer needs (internal/external) in order to dispatch technicians to on-call services (T&M) and planned maintenance visits.
  • Schedule T&M calls and planned maintenance visits as required, provide back up to the team.
  • Manage Service Coordinators to ensure accurate and timely scheduling of T&M calls and planned maintenance.
  • Liase with Dispatch and Billing Service Supervisor to align with goals and needs of the department (staffing, quality etc.).
  • Guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the point of escalation for customers with concerns over scheduling.
  • Coordinate with Operations Managers to align availability and scheduling of staff technicians and specialists – facilitate Area Scheduling meetings (bi-weekly).
  • Review and improve process documentation, ensure distributed to the team.
  • Participate in the development and roll out of new programs and procedures.
  • Must understand and be able to carry out full end to end function of a service coordinator.
  • Travel between Areas may be required.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Understand the client’s needs and balance with business requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be organized: know how to prioritize tasks and complete them on time.
  • Ease of working in a fast-paced environment that constantly changes.
  • Concern for quality: follow established standards and improve when possible.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Motivated and efficient under pressure; good problem-solving / decision making skills.
  • Sense of empathy; Team spirit; Collaboration skills.
  • Highly Preferred: Bilingual (English/French) verbal and written communication skills – this role requires interaction with English-speaking customers and suppliers across Canada and/or internationally.

Nice to have:

  • Field service dispatch experience.
  • Billing experience.
  • SAP systems Knowledge.
  • Basic accounting / business accounting knowledge.
  • Works for Service system knowledge.
  • Previous Supervisory experience involving a remote team.
