Job summary

StoneRidge Insurance Brokers seeks a Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and grow a portfolio, advise clients on coverage, and maintain accurate records in our broker system. The role emphasizes relationship-building, attention to detail, and collaboration with carriers and colleagues.

The ideal candidate holds a RIBO Level 1 license (or provincial equivalent), has 3+ years of insurance experience, and values ongoing professional development through education and firm-sponsored programs.

Qualifications

• Provincial insurance license (Level 1 or RIBO) is required.
• Minimum 3 years of insurance experience as direct writer or from any brokerage.
• Commercial Bonds experience is an asset.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job Type :In Office (5 Days), Full Time, Permanent

Pay : Starting From $65,000 annually

What You Will Do:

• Service and grow a Commercial lines portfolio
• Handle new business, renewals, endorsements, and accounts receivable
• Advise clients on coverage and support policy/claims inquiries
• Maintain accurate records in our broker management system
• Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and colleagues

What You Bring :

• Provincial insurance license (Level 1 or RIBO) is required
• Minimum 3 years of insurance experience as direct writer or from any brokage company is an asset.
• Commercial Bonds experience is an asset.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and broker management systems
• CAIB, CIP, other insurance related designations are an asset
