We specialize in commercial projects and seek an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our Victoria office.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with architects and designers to develop detailed architectural drawings and specifications for commercial projects.
• Ensure compliance with commercial building codes and regulations, maintaining high-quality project designs.
• Manage project documentation, including construction drawings, permits, and technical specifications.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and solutions for design challenges.
• Conduct site visits to support project development and verify construction aligns with design plans.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address inquiries and support project delivery throughout its lifecycle.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience working on commercial projects; experience with multi-family projects is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant architectural software.
• Strong knowledge of BC Building Code Part 3 and ASHRAE 90.1; familiarity with NECB is advantageous.
• Deep understanding of commercial building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• A passion for architecture and a dedication to delivering high-quality design solutions.
