We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Advisor (Sales) to join BrokerLink and work out of our Newcastle branch on a Permanent (FT) basis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating leads and referrals to build your pipeline
  • Serving ongoing client needs, advising on insurance, conducting needs assessments, and processing renewals
  • Selling new policies and maintaining existing client relationships
  • Quoting new business and handling walk-in clients
  • Collaborating with underwriters and adjusters
  • Preparing documentation, issuing certificates, and reviewing renewals
  • Staying current on underwriting rules and processes
  • Participating in training and community marketing initiatives
  • Managing account receivables
  • Providing guidance and assistance as needed

Qualifications include:

  • High School or Post-Secondary education; equivalent skills considered
  • Commercial Insurance experience is an asset
  • Ability to generate your own sales leads
  • Strong customer focus and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • RIBO license
