Synex Assurance | Couture Rochette Risk management in Lévis is seeking an Account Manager to handle large and complex commercial insurance files. You will work closely with the producing broker to analyze risks, propose optimal products, and negotiate conditions with insurers.

You will monitor renewals, draft client documentation, and supervise policy issuance, modifications and cancellations. The role emphasizes collaboration within a team and a strong client-service focus in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Hold a business damage insurance license issued by the Financial Markets Authority (AMF).
• At least 2 years of experience in the business insurance sector.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Acturis is an asset.
• Fluency in French (spoken and written).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Autonomy with a collaborative mindset.
• High professional ethics and client-focus.

Responsibilities

In order to support our growth in commercial insurance, our firm located in Lévis is looking for a person who will act in concert with the producing broker for large and complex files. Thanks to his eagle eye and great customer service skills, this person will play a central role in monitoring with insurers and will be an important reference for customers.

Your Main Responsibilities In This Position

• In collaboration with the producing broker on his team, the account manager will have to process, analyze and follow up on requests from his customers;
• Analyze risks and offer the best product at the best quality and at the best possible price according to the customer's needs;
• Use your negotiating skills to obtain the best possible conditions from insurers;
• Monitor renewals according to schedules;
• Support your customers during disasters and ensure rigorous monitoring;
• Play a central role in drafting documentation and offers to the client;
• Supervise the issuance, modifications and cancellations of policies according to procedures;
• AND because collaboration is at the center of everything: supporting, accompanying and carrying out tasks specific to your team.

The DNA Sought

• Hold a business damage insurance license issued by the Financial Markets Authority;
• Accumulate professional experience of at least 2 years in the business insurance sector;
• Have strong comfort in using the tools of the office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.);
• Being familiar with the field of damage insurance and the various relevant systems and tools (for example Acturis) is an asset;
• Master the French language, both orally and in writing;
• Have excellent organizational skills;
• Demonstrate autonomy and resourcefulness;
• Seek to work as a team and encourage collaboration;
• Demonstrate high professional ethics.
