Job summary

Summit is seeking a Commercial Account Executive in Canada to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, delivering exceptional service while driving sales. You will assess client needs, provide tailored coverage, and guide them from quote to bind in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead engagement from discovery calls to close, collaborate with account management, and participate in local industry events to expand your network and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Level 2 insurance license; RIBO license is a plus.
• 3+ years in insurance sales, production underwriting, or commercial marketing; commercial lines exp.
• Proven sales track record of meeting/exceeding targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead management: nurture warm commercial insurance leads and appointments.
• Prospecting & sales: grow a sustainable pipeline using data-driven training and CRM.
• Networking: represent Summit at local industry events to build underwriting relationships.
• Front line underwriting: assess risk profiles and tailor coverage solutions.
• Collaboration with Account Management: market leads to carriers and ensure smooth handoff.
