Qualifications

• 2-5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Fahrzeugschadenbewertung und Reparatur.
• Kenntnisse in Computerestimierungssystemen.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting motivated and knowledgeable Commercial / Heavy Equipment Road Appraisers to service Ontario-GTA.

In this role, you will assess repairs and total loss valuations for various heavy on-road and off-road vehicles, including motorhomes, RVs, trailers, industrial equipment, trucks, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and ATVs. Your assessments will aim to control costs while maintaining excellent customer service and accuracy.

What you'll do:

• Utilize computerized estimating systems to prepare complete, competitive repair estimates and communicate with customers, repair facilities, and claim representatives.
• Review appraisals from approved vendors.
• Negotiate repair plans with repair facilities.
• Re-inspect repaired units for quality and cost control.
• Evaluate actual cash value and total loss replacement costs, proactively managing storage and rental vehicle costs.
• Fulfill dispatch needs and resolve claims in the field.
• Report fraudulent claims to senior supervisors.
• Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
• Collaborate with claims handlers to provide coaching and coverage information.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, claims processes, and financial outcomes.

What you'll bring:

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• 2-5 years of vehicle damage appraisal experience, including heavy equipment appraisal and collision repair.
• Knowledge of Audatex and Mitchell Estimating System.
• Prior appraisal and hands-on shop experience.
• Strong computer skills, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and industry contacts for parts, used vehicle values, and repair procedures.
