Halse Martin Construction is a well-established commercial construction company located in Vancouver, and we are seeking to hire a permanent Site Superintendent for our projects located throughout the Lower Mainland. We specialize in mid-size commercial and IT renovations including financial institutions, health care facilities, heritage restoration and low-rise buildings. A typical project value range from $1M to $20M. We take pride in providing exceptional service and quality work. We are looking for a long term, full time Site Superintendent to join our well-established team.

The ideal candidate should:

· Have a strong construction knowledge and understanding

· Have a willingness to take on technically challenging projects

· Have significant health care project experience

· Be looking for a stable, long-term position with a reputable firm

· Be self motivated and responsible and able to excel under limited supervision

· Be able to interact with clients, users and stakeholders in a professional manner.

· Have a Carpentry ticket (TQ / Red Seal) or equivalent.

· Have strong written and verbal communication skills

· Have strong organizational and interpersonal skills

· Have a working knowledge of Procore

Compensation and Benefits:

· We are offering a generous hourly rate including Overtime (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain a safe and organized construction site

· Manage day to day site activities.

· Manage and schedule sub contractors, suppliers, and vendors

· Manage and schedule Own Forces labor requirements in conjunction with the Project Manager.

· Coordinate subtrade manpower to suit schedule

· Work closely with Project Manager to maintain schedule and quality

· Comply with and enforce the company safety program.
