A leading company in the civil construction sector seeks a Civil Construction Manager to oversee site-level activities across Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will bring 7-10+ years of supervisory experience in civil construction, including expertise in site surveying and strong leadership skills, contributing to diverse projects and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Position Overview
The Civil Construction Manager will work remotely from a home base, and travel to project sites, primarily across Saskatchewan, as required to oversee all aspects of the site-level civil construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage and lead construction activities for civil and water & sewer projects.
-Independently perform site surveying using GPS and total station equipment to support layout and project planning.
-Coordinate superintendents, crews, subcontractors, and equipment to meet production goals, timelines, budgets, safety and regulatory standards.
-Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and field supervisors to ensure alignment throughout all project phases.
-Support project billing, documentation, and tracking deliverables.
Qualifications
-7-10+ years of progressive civil construction supervisory experience, with a strong background in earthworks, water & sewer and infrastructure projects.
-Proficient in surveying practices and equipment (e.g., GPS, total station), with the ability to conduct surveys independently.
-Advanced drone pilot license with experience in photogrammetry and/or LiDAR considered an asset.
-Familiarity with civil design principles and construction layout planning.
-Strong knowledge of heavy equipment, utility installation, site grading, and civil construction standards.
-Skilled in coordinating teams, logistics, and project controls.
-Valid drivers license and willingness to travel throughout Western Canada including remote northern work.
Preferred Assets
-Certification in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
-Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar design/survey software.
