Job summary

e-STORAGE, a Canadian Solar subsidiary, seeks a Commercial Analyst II to join our Battery Energy Storage System team in Kitchener, ON. You will own RFP responses, negotiate contracts with suppliers, analyze costs, and guide strategic project decisions for diverse global deployments.

Responsibilities include leading RFP processes, negotiating EPC contracts, and developing bid analyses to optimize procurement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, Finance, or Economics or related field.
Experience negotiating commercial contracts and managing RFPs for energy-sector equipment and services.
Strong ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize responses and decisions.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Own and lead RFP response and competitive bid processes for global projects.
Lead customer and sub-contractor contract negotiations for equipment, services, and EPC contracts.
Develop key requirements for RFPs and evaluate bid results.
Perform bid analysis and modeling to support procurement decisions.
Collaborate with supply chain to capture competitive intelligence and market dynamics.
Interact with customers, vendors, and potential suppliers; communicate with executives.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes and support implementation.
Ensure internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained; support project teams.
