The Work:

• Analyze commerce activities and guide design and implementation or enhancement of Shopify applications.
• Provide functional suggestions during solution design and execution to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to clarify requirements and dependencies.
• Share best practices for Shopify and support optimal decision-making in digital strategy and governance.
• Understand overall application architecture and evaluate Shopify solutions for short-term and long-term use cases.
• Oversee Shopify Apps/Analytics setup and configuration.
• Drive integration frameworks for Shopify apps with third-party applications.
• Assess technical feasibility of requirements, identify gaps, and escalate issues.
• Apply Agile methodologies and manage user stories/backlogs effectively.
• Define commerce governance procedures, business requirements, and workflows for a seamless buying experience.
• Support business process redesign and roadmap planning across multi-channel applications.
• Mentor team members and foster knowledge sharing on Commerce initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through trust and effective communication.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full lifecycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies.
• 3+ years of deploying or relaunching Shopify Commerce applications.
• 3+ years of leading functional discussions and decisions, with knowledge of Composable and Headless commerce techniques.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in English is essential for stakeholder interactions across multiple countries.

Preferred Skills:

• French language skills are a plus.
• Experience eliciting business requirements and creating detailed documentation.
• Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and developers for multi-lingual, multi-channel solutions.
