Commercial Collections Coordinator

Location: Southeast Nashville, TN (Hybrid: Tuesday through Thursday on-site)

Compensation: Anticipated to be between $40,000 and $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Schedule: Permanent Hire, W2, Full-time, Standard Business Hours

A well-established manufacturing and distribution company is expanding its commercial collections team in the Southeast area of Nashville. This is a hybrid role that offers stability, clear processes, and exposure to a national customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of business-to-business accounts and lead collection activities for outstanding balances
• Review past-due accounts, identify payment discrepancies, and initiate contact via phone, email, and written communication
• Serve as a primary liaison with national customers and internal teams to resolve non-sufficient funds (NSF) transactions and billing issues
• Document collection efforts, follow up on payment arrangements, and escalate unresolved issues as needed
• Collaborate with finance and customer service teams to ensure accurate account status and reporting
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and customer agreements

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in commercial collections or accounts receivable
• Experience working with national or high-volume customer accounts
• Familiarity with NSF resolution, payment application, and account reconciliation
• Strong communication skills across phone and email
• Proficiency with ERP systems (experience with Oracle or HighRadius a plus)
• Comfortable working in a structured environment with metrics-based expectations
