Position Summary

A Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by taking drink orders, serving beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. This role involves maintaining cleanliness, assisting customers with menu recommendations, and handling transactions efficiently. Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $17.20 CAD and is tip eligible.

This is a seasonal role from approximately June 1, 2025- October 15, 2025.

About the Venue

Welcome to Rogers Stadium, a new 50,000 capacity outdoor venue in North Toronto. Oak View Group serves the stadium as its main Food & Beverage partner during a brief but intense season of 12-15 concerts, running from June to September. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for an extra gig, part-time work, and a fun work environment.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve drinks to customers.
• Ensure the bar area is clean and well-stocked.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional orders.
• Collect payments and return change.
• Assist in bar preparation and opening/closing tasks.
• Maintain a clean work environment to comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Recommend drink pairings or menu items based on customer preferences.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Follow all relevant laws regarding alcohol service and safety procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Cocktail Server or similar role.
• Knowledge of cocktails and mixed drinks.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of different POS systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be Smart Serve certified.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work different shifts, which may include holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Able to legally work in Canada.
