Job summary

Mastertech in Brantford, ON is seeking an experienced CO2 Refrigeration Engineering Specialist to join our team. You will engineer, design, optimize, and develop expanding CO2 product lines, leveraging deep CO2 manufacturing knowledge and CAD skills. Prior design knowledge helps but is not required if CO2 process understanding is strong.

The role offers a standard 8:00am–4:30pm schedule, with probationary benefits and opportunities for professional development. Occasional travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in commercial/industrial refrigeration or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of CO2 system manufacturing processes and materials.
• Proficiency with 2-D and 3-D CAD software.
• CO2 application and/or design experience is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, design, optimize and develop CO2 product lines at head office in Brantford.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to advance product development.
• Support lifecycle stages from concept through implementation and testing.
• Travel occasionally to support projects across the U.S. or Canada.

We are currently on the hunt for an experienced CO2 Refrigeration Engineering Specialist to join a well established team at their head office in Brantford, ON. This role involves engineering, designing, optimizing, and developing our expanding CO2 product lines. While prior design knowledge is beneficial, a deep understanding of CO2 manufacturing processes and materials is essential.

Compensation: $80,000 to $120,000/year

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Diploma/ Degree or equivalent Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of CO2 system manufacturing processes and materials, with over 5 years of specific expertise in CO2 systems.
• Knowledge and experience in the use of 2-D and 3-D CAD software
• CO2 application and/or design experience is considered an asset
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products and proficiency in computer software and programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess a valid passport with the ability to travel occasionally in the U.S or in Canada
