Battlefords Residential Services Inc. is seeking a Co-ordinator of Program Services for our North Battleford operations.

The role involves coordinating residential and day program services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, ensuring high-quality support and supervision. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's in Psychology with emphasis on learning/behavioral psychology, CLD Level II/III, and experience in developing and supervising developmental programs.

Qualifications

Battlefords Residential Services Inc. (BRSI) is a non-profit, community based organization providing residential, day program and support services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities through the operation of: 6 group homes providing service for 34 individuals, Supportive Living Program providing service for up to 17 individuals, and a community based day program providing service for 9 inidividuals. BRSI is inviting applications for the position of Co-ordinator of Program Services. This is full-time position.

The successful applicant will have:
  • considerable knowledge of the principles of learning and behavior;
  • knowledge of ethical standards for the application of behavioral programs;
  • knowledge of a variety of functional and adaptive behavior and behavioral assessments;
  • Knowledge of major trends and concepts with the field of intellectual disabilities;
  • Experience and/or formal training in the design, application and supervision of developmental programs;
  • Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Instructional and supervisory skills and skills in decision making;
  • Ability to work independently with individuals and with groups;
  • Health Care related experience would be an asset;
  • Valid Driver's License;
  • CPR & 1st Aide;
  • A criminal record check with vulnerable sector is required.
Education:

Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (or other related discipline) with an emphasis in learning and behavioral psychology or an equivalent combination of experience and formal training, including CLD Level II and III
