Job summary

Autismservices is seeking a facilitator for the Battlefords Early Childhood Intervention Program. This full-time temporary position involves providing program support to children and youth aged 6-18 who have developmental delays. The successful candidate will work closely with families and schools under the guidance of the executive director.

Ideal applicants should possess a university diploma, extensive experience in human services, and a passion for working with First Nation families. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of post-secondary experience in the human services field.
  • Experience working with First Nation families is preferred.
  • Must have a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

The facilitator will work under the direction of the executive director to provide programming to children and youth aged 6-18 who have a diagnosed developmental delay or are experiencing delay. Visits will take place in families’ homes and schools.

Qualifications
  • Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of 2 years of post-secondary experience in the human services field, such as early childhood, education, social work, or other related programs.
  • Preference will be given to those who have experience working with First Nation families.
  • Applicant will have a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Applicant will be self‑motivated, have excellent communication and organizational skills, be flexible, be a problem solver, and a team player.
  • Applicant must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • CPR and First Aid certificates would be an asset.
  • Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check must be completed prior to hire.
