Job summary

Metrolinx is seeking a Co-op Student for Settlement & Treasury within the Payments (PRESTO) Finance Operations team. The role focuses on financial reconciliations, reporting, and treasury-related processes within a large public sector organization.

You will work under the Assistant Manager and gain hands-on experience in accounting, controls, and process improvement while supporting projects and day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in a recognized post-secondary co-op program and eligible to complete a co-op term.
• Enrolled in Business, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate records.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting docs for financial transactions.
