Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in full-time post-secondary co-op program and eligible to complete a co-op term as part of academic requirements.
• Engineering program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support initiatives to improve fleet reliability and availability.
• Assist with investigating equipment issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Analyze maintenance and component failure data to identify trends.
• Support development of technical bulletins and engineering recommendations.
• Assist with evaluating pilot projects and emerging technologies for fleet compatibility.
• Research industry trends to improve fleet performance and maintenance practices.
• Collaborate with operations, safety, maintenance and engineering teams.
• Travel across the GTHA to support field investigations and project activities.
