Job description

We are looking for a motivated and organized Co-op Student / Junior Recruiter to join our Human Resources team for the Fall 2026 semester, from September to December.

This is a great opportunity for a current student or recent graduate with an interest in Human Resources to gain hands‑on experience in Talent Acquisition and recruitment. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will support the recruitment process across a variety of roles within Kingsley Management and our family of companies.

As a valuable member of the HR team, you will work closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner and hiring managers while developing practical skills in candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and recruitment administration.

This is a fully in‑office role, Monday to Friday, and is well suited to someone who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to gain meaningful, hands‑on experience in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment process across a variety of corporate, property management, development, and other roles.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet role requirements.
  • Conduct initial candidate screening calls and provide a positive, professional candidate experience.
  • Support the development and maintenance of candidate pipelines.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, the HR team, and hiring managers.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, including scheduling, follow‑ups, and status updates.
  • Assist with reference checks and other pre‑employment activities.
  • Support the creation and posting of job opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and keep applicant tracking system (ATS) information up to date.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources function as required.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program or a recent graduate.
  • A strong interest in building a career in Human Resources and/or recruitment.
  • Previous recruitment or Human Resources experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to speak with candidates by phone and email.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Professional, approachable, and comfortable interacting with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technology.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, or other recruitment tools is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of the HR team.
  • A proactive, curious, and positive approach with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Available to work in‑office Monday to Friday throughout the four‑month term.

Pay Range: $22 per hour
