The Centralized Co-op Education Program at UBC’s Okanagan campus seeks a Co-op & Career Coordinator to design, implement, coordinate and evaluate the program, marketing it to employers nationally and internationally, recruiting students, and providing counselling to prepare for co-op work terms one-on-one and in groups.

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of four years’ experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, coordinate and evaluate the Centralized Co‑op Education program at the UBC Okanagan campus, including marketing to employers nationally and internationally, recruiting students, and providing counselling for co‑op work terms one‑on‑one and in groups.
• Researches and identifies job opportunities for co‑op work terms.
• Liaises with faculty co‑op advisors, the Manager, and other university staff to ensure program effectiveness and student success.
