Job summary

Green Shield Canada (GSC) is seeking a Co-op student to join the Corporate Finance team in Windsor. Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting & Enterprise Expenses, you will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational analyses that drive financial performance across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly reporting, journal entries, KPI reporting, and cost-trend analyses. This role offers exposure to broader finance transformation projects and collaboration

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ERP platforms like Workday is a plus.
• Ability to process and manipulate large data sets.
• Strong planning, organizing and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly management reporting deliverables (variance analysis, forecasting, headcount reporting).
• Assist monthly journal entries (reclasses, accruals).
• Support development, measurement and reporting of KPIs.
• Analyze expenditure trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Perform ad hoc off-cycle financial analyses.
• Contribute to broader finance transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Finance/Accounting teams.
