Job summary

Little Burgundy is a hip-branded footwear retailer with stores across Canada. We are seeking a Store/Co-Manager-in-Training to assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing sales team.

You will help achieve sales goals, manage store operations, and uphold company policies while delivering a memorable shopping experience. Trainees join a dynamic team with opportunities for rapid promotion and benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn and complete training programs leading to Co-Manager.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week including nights and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Bilingualism as required (Quebec only).
• Completion of all training programs leading up to Co-Manager position or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high-caliber employees with in-store needs.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing company policies.
• Ensure all company initiatives are properly implemented to standard.
• Communicate stock replenishment needs to District Sales Manager and Distribution.
• Recognize talented staff and develop them for growth within the company.
• Supervise daily store operations in Store Manager/Manager In Training’s absence.
• Oversee Loss Prevention practices in Manager In Training’s absence.
• Communicate store needs to Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Resolve customer issues effectively and provide full-service experience.
• Demonstrate Little Burgundy culture to the team.
