Job description

Join to apply for the CNC Set Up role at BWXT Medical.

We are currently seeking a CNC Set Up for our Brampton Team, which will start in Brampton and then be stationed in Arnprior. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Arnprior.

Responsibilities

• Study drawings to plan sequences of steps for maximum efficiency.
• Set up using a wide range of tools and perform setups on CNC lathes involving very close tolerances.
• Complete shop documentation as required.
• Follow all company policies and attendance guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 education.
• 5-10 years of experience in a high-tolerance machining environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work 8-hour rotating shifts.
• Ability to program and operate CAD/CAM systems (Mastercam).
• Comprehensive knowledge of CNC code (Fanuc controllers).
• Understanding of technical terminology and developments.
