CNC Set Up

We are currently seeking a CNC Set Up technician for our Arnprior team. The role requires willingness to travel to the Brampton site for the first 4-5 weeks.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Study drawings to plan efficient sequences of steps.
• Set up using a variety of tools and perform setups on CNC lathes with very tight tolerances.
• Complete shop documentation as required.
• Adhere to all company policies and attendance guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Grade 12 education required.
• 5-10 years of experience in a high-tolerance machining environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work 8-hour rotating shifts.
• Proficiency in programming and operating CAD/CAM systems (e.g., Mastercam).
• Comprehensive knowledge of CNC code (Fanuc controllers).
• Understanding of technical terminology and developments.

Selected applicants will undergo testing and interviews.

Compensation:

The starting hourly pay range in Ontario is expected to be between $36.71 and $40.79. The final offer will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and market conditions. The total compensation package may include additional elements like annual incentives and benefits, which will be detailed upon job offer.
