Job Title: Lead CNC Programmer

Job Description

Join our dynamic Machining Department as a Lead CNC Programmer, where you will be responsible for programming CNC mills and lathes for plastic using Mastercam software.

Work Environment

Our Machine Shop Department offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where teamwork and communication are key. You will work both in the office and on the shop floor, collaborating with a multicultural team of about 50 employees. The facility features an open production floor with proper ventilation, making it unsuitable for those with plastic allergies. The dress code is casual business, and candidates will work Monday to Thursday from 7am to 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam software.
• Read and interpret G-Code for machining operations.
• Machine plastics and steel with precision.
• Determine tooling, tool-paths, setup methods, and fixtures to produce high-quality parts.
• Conduct quality control to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years' experience as a CNC machinist.
• 5+ years of programming experience.
• Proficiency in Mastercam Software.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to set up mills and lathes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience in programming is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Good attitude and reliability.
• Punctuality and commitment to being present.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
