️ We’re Hiring: CNC Machinist – Port Coquitlam, BC
Onsite | Full-Time | No Sponsorship Offered
Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Tuesday–Friday (during probation)
️ Shifts transition to Monday–Thursday after successful probation
Probation Period: 6–12 weeks (based on experience and technical knowledge)

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA is expanding our team and looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to support our operations in Port Coquitlam, BC. If you have a passion for precision, safety, and working in a supportive environment with modern equipment — this is the opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lasers, press brakes, and punch machines.

• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to meet specifications.

• Perform routine inspections and measurements to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.

• Maintain clean and safe working conditions, adhering to all safety protocols.

• Collaborate with your team to meet production goals and continuous improvement efforts.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience, including laser, press brake, and punch machine operations.

• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future.

Bonus if You Have:

• Forklift or crane operation experience (not required, but a plus).

• Previous experience with lean manufacturing or quality programs.

• Technical training or certification in machining or metal fabrication.
