Fuze HR Solutions in Mississauga, ON is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Setter Operator for day or afternoon shifts. The role involves preparing machines, setting tooling and offsets, and ensuring parts meet exacting quality standards in a precision shop supporting aerospace/defense components.

The ideal candidate has hands-on CNC milling experience, reads blueprints, uses precision measuring tools, and works safely and independently in a team environment.

Formación

• Hands-on CNC milling experience in a shop environment.
• Experience setting up CNC mills with tooling, fixtures and offsets.
• Familiar with 3-axis CNC milling; multi-axis experience is an asset.
• Fanuc and Haas controls experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and machining instructions.
• Comfort using precision measuring instruments.
• Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools and quality requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
• Aerospace/defense or precision machining experience is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines for production.
• Prepare machines, fixtures and workpieces for machining operations.
• Install and adjust cutting tools and establish machine offsets.
• Load and unload materials and finished components.
• Load existing CNC programs and make basic adjustments as required.
• Monitor machine performance and identify machining issues.
• Perform first-off and in-process dimensional inspections.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions and production specifications.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges and other measuring instruments.
• Inspect, deburr and prepare finished components.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Work with machinists, supervisors and quality personnel to maintain production standards.
