Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a CNC Lathe Setter/Operator for a Woodbridge, ON location. You will set up and run CNC lathes, read engineering drawings, and perform in-process quality inspections to ensure components meet exact specifications.

This role offers a straight day shift, full-time permanent employment, and a stable manufacturing environment serving aerospace, defence, nuclear and medical sectors. Experience with precision instrumentation and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a precision machining environment (preferred).
• Experience in aerospace, defence, nuclear or medical machining is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments for quality inspections.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and finished parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and machining specifications.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure parts meet quality requirements.

Fuze HR Solutions is currently hiring a CNC Lathe Setter / Operator for a well-established precision manufacturing company in Woodbridge, ON.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, growing manufacturer producing high-precision components for the aerospace, defence, nuclear and medical industries.

We are looking for an experienced CNC machinist who can set up and operate CNC lathe machines, perform in-process quality inspections and ensure finished components meet required specifications.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Previous CNC lathe setup and operating experience.
• Ideally, 5+ years of experience in a precision machining environment.
• Previous aerospace, defence, nuclear or medical machining experience is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments to perform quality inspections.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve machining processes.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Security Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and be able to successfully complete the required background and security clearance process.

Shift Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
