Job summary

Responsibilities

• Measure and lay out work pieces for assembly.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
• Set up and adjust production machinery/tools.
• Fit and assemble components to close tolerances.
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
• Document deviations and maintain inspection records.
• Verify dimensions with micrometers and calipers.
• Operate CNC and conventional machine tools.
• Program toolpaths for CNC machines.
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements.
