Job summary

Fidelity Machine & Mould Solutions Inc. in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for a full-time role. You will program, set up, and operate CNC lathes while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, selecting tooling, setting speeds and feeds, performing in-process checks, and ensuring ISO & AS9100 quality compliance. CAD/CAM software experience is valued; entry-level candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

2 years experience operating lathes preferred but not required.
Journeyman machinist trade certificate or equivalent experience is an asset.
Experience in Mastercam, Solidworks or CAD/CAM software is an asset.

Responsibilities

Setup and operation of machines and tools to complete jobs to specified tolerance.
Reviewing drawings to ensure all specifications are met.
Modify speeds/feeds, tooling, and cutting styles for precision.
Ensure quality and ISO/AS9100 standards compliance.
Prepare maintenance tasks and tool calibration.
In-process checks with measuring tools and tolerances.
Time management for current and future jobs.
Verify correct materials and tooling for tasks.
