Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a skilled CNC Machinist in the Waterloo area. The candidate will create and edit CNC programs, perform set-ups, and operate CNC and conventional equipment. Ability to read engineered drawings and sketches is essential.

The role requires a licensed machinist or equivalent with at least 5 years on a CNC mill, strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Machinist or Equivalent is required.
• CNC Mill – minimum 5 years experience in a machining role.
• Own basic tools and transportation are required.
• Must understand engineered drawings and be able to read sketches.
• Ability to receive and understand verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge and use of inspection/monitoring devices and instrumentation.
• Detail-oriented, self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Works well with others; positive attitude; responsible and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Create/edit CNC programs and perform set-ups.
• Operate CNC and conventional equipment as required.
• Interpret engineered drawings and sketches to guide machining.
• Maintain good housekeeping and organization; meet quality standards.
• Overtime as required to support shop loading.

CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities:

• Licensed Machinist or Equivalent


• Ability to create/edit CNC Programs and perform your set-ups


• Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, & able to work with minimal supervision


• Must have experience with Tight Tolerances


• Good communication Skills & Work Ethic


• Ability to understand & interpret Engineered Drawings, as well as Sketches


• Ability to receive and understand Verbal & Written Instructions


• Ability to Operate Other Equipment as required (includes conventional)


• Knowledge & Ability to Use various Monitoring & Measuring Devices & Instrumentation


• Good Housekeeping & Organizational Skills

• Overtime as required

Shift:

Days as Primary – Ability to work afternoons as required based on shop loading

Employment Details:

• Hourly Rate: Based on Experience.


• Shift Premium: $2.00/hr for afternoon shift.
