Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setter/Operator for a Woodbridge, ON facility. The role requires setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components, performing in-process inspections and ensuring every part meets specifications.

You will read engineering drawings, work with machinists and quality personnel, and maintain a clean, safe production area. A stable aerospace/defence manufacturing environment offers long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC precision machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience performing in-process inspections with precision instruments.
• Aerospace/defence/nuclear/medical machining experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components.
• Load and unload materials and finished parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and machining specifications.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure parts meet quality requirements.

Fuze HR Solutions is currently hiring a CNC Lathe Setter / Operator for a well-established precision manufacturing company in Woodbridge, ON.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, growing manufacturer producing high-precision components for the aerospace, defence, nuclear and medical industries.

We are looking for an experienced CNC machinist who can set up and operate CNC lathe machines, perform in-process quality inspections and ensure finished components meet required specifications.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Previous CNC lathe setup and operating experience.
• Ideally, 5+ years of experience in a precision machining environment.
• Previous aerospace, defence, nuclear or medical machining experience is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments to perform quality inspections.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve machining processes.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Security Clearance Requirement

Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and be able to successfully complete the required background and security clearance process.

Shift Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Compensation & Benefits
