Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. is seeking a Grinding Setup Operator for a full-time role in Ontario. You will set up and operate CNC grinding and, when required, CNC lathe processes in a Large Cell, following standard work and inspection policies.

Ideal candidates hold a Grade 12 diploma and a General Machinist Trade certificate or Red Seal, with demonstrated grinding setup experience. Starting wages are competitive, with benefits, pension matching, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifikationen

• Grade 12 diploma required.
• General Machinist Trade certificate or Red Seal Journeyperson Machinist.
• Experience as Grinding Set Up Operator or equivalent machining background.
• Ability to read production prints.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate CNC grinding production process.
• Set up and operate CNC lathe process (Large Cell).
• Follow standard work instructions and specifications.
• Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues.
• Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping in all production areas.
• Train other operators as needed.
