Job summary

Job Bank is seeking a CNC machinist to join our manufacturing team in North York, ON. This permanent, full-time role requires setting up and operating CNC machines, verifying part dimensions with precision measuring tools, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Compensation is 35.00–40.00 CAD per hour, with 40–60 hours per week. The position is on-site with relocation considered for eligible candidates, and benefits include parking, travel insurance, and team-building activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC-related measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) is helpful.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications.

Responsibilities

• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precision measuring instruments.
• Operate and set up CNC machines for repetitive machining tasks.
• Clean and maintain the workspace.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for CNC machines.
