Adecco is currently hiring a CNC Machinist for our client in Bowmanville, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in CNC machining, CNC programming, machine setup, blueprint reading, quality inspections, precision manufacturing, and production machining.
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment while ensuring products meet quality, dimensional, and production requirements. You will play a key role in troubleshooting machining issues, improving processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and program adjustments as required.
Load, position, and secure raw materials using fixtures, clamps, and jigs.
Design and recommend tooling, fixtures, and jigs to improve efficiency and productivity.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and tolerance requirements.
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, material, and equipment issues.
Recommend improvements to machining processes, tooling, and production workflows.
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
Train and mentor new operators on machine setup, operation, and quality requirements.
Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and production teams to achieve manufacturing goals.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance activities.
Formal training in Machining, CNC Programming, Precision Manufacturing, or a related trade.
Minimum 2-5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with CNC setup, programming, and operation.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
Experience performing quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong organization, communication, and time-management abilities.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods as required.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
