Job summary

Nexus CNC Machining Services Ltd. in Edmonton is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our on-site team. You will read engineering drawings, set up and operate conventional and CNC machines, and assemble components to tight tolerances.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, ability to interpret charts and tables, and meticulous measurement using precision instruments. This is a full-time, on-site role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation is required.
• 3–5 years of machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
• Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools.
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
