Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC machinist to join our on-site production team in Surrey, BC. You will read engineering drawings, set up and adjust lathes and milling machines, and ensure parts meet strict tolerances.

Responsibilities include maintaining inspection records, using micrometers, calipers and gauges, and verifying dimensions of machined parts. A secondary school certificate or equivalent experience and 3–5 years in manufacturing are expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years to less than 5 years experience in manufacturing or related field.
• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
