Job summary

Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform their business with scalable cloud solutions. You will own large customer issues and provide level-two support across teams, contributing to faster, more reliable deployments.

In this role you troubleshoot a mix of debugging, networking, system administration, and scripting; you’ll drive improvements to tools, processes, and documentation, enabling customers to adopt Google Cloud more effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 9 years of experience reading/debugging in Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript.
• 9 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customer needs, and triaging technical issues (hardware, software, application, operational, process).

Responsibilities

• Learn about and resolve customer issues as part of a global 24x7 support team.
• Diagnose, resolve, or implement new investigation tools to improve productivity for Google Cloud Platform products.
• Collaborate with sales and customer organizations to remove deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Google’s product technology by troubleshooting root causes and building faster diagnosis tools.
• Coordinate with Product and Development teams to improve supportability and interact with Site Reliability teams.
