Job summary

Prophix is seeking a Sr. Software Architect to shape the cloud and SaaS technology foundation powering our next generation of financial performance management solutions.

You will drive technical decisions, modernize legacy systems, and design secure, scalable cloud-native architectures that impact developers and customers. You will lead architecture initiatives, mentor engineers, review requirements, and participate in senior developer interviews.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with architecture/principal engineer in SaaS or cloud-native.
• Proven ability to translate complex requirements into scalable software architecture for multi-tenant SaaS.
• Experience with cloud-native security, IaC, and secure design patterns.
• Strong communication and mentorship abilities; capable of leading interviews for senior hires.

Responsibilities

• Lead tech evaluations and architectural pattern decisions for scalable platform.
• Design secure, robust cloud-based solutions from concept to production.
• Collaborate with business units to align tech choices with business value.
• Prototype across stacks and leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development.
• Review requirements, decisions, and standards with architects and engineers.
• Contribute to agile teams delivering new apps and features.
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews to foster technical excellence.
• Participate in technical interviews to maintain high hiring standards.
