Prophix Software Inc. in Canada seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to advance the FP&A Plus platform. You’ll design, build, and maintain modular .NET capabilities used by finance teams worldwide to budget, report, and plan.

You will work in a collaborative agile team with engineers, PMs, and QA, owning meaningful slices of a large domain-driven modular-monolith, shipping high-quality code at scale. This role emphasizes correctness, architectural thinking, testing, and cross-module collaboration;

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development in distributed applications.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET; PostgreSQL and EF experience.
• Expertise in microservices or modular-monolith architectures and DDD.
• Cloud-native AWS experience: Lambda, SQS, Aurora Serverless, S3.
• Experience on Windows and Linux; Git and CI tooling; testing focus.
• Degree in CS/SE or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong English communication; collaboration across technical teams.
• Legally entitled to work in the country.
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features within FP&A Plus modules (budgeting, workflow, reporting, journal management, data import, etc.).
• Write data-access code against AWS Aurora Serverless PostgreSQL with proper scaling.
• Build and consume event-driven integrations using AWS SQS, MassTransit, Quartz.NET.
• Apply module-flag-based authorization for endpoints and MCP tools.
• Ensure quality with unit and integration tests using xUnit, Moq, FluentAssertions.
• Investigate defects with root-cause analysis across pre/post-release stages.
• Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning.
• Coordinate cross-module dependencies and formalize cross-module contracts.
