Job summary

ProMach’s ZPI software division is seeking a Cloud Architect & Engineer to lead the design and implementation of cloud-based products. The role is hands-on, shaping system structure, building components, and owning deployments in production.

You will influence architecture decisions and collaborate with engineers to deliver scalable, secure SaaS solutions for manufacturing customers. The candidate will drive data pipelines, telemetry, and reliability practices while aligning with product goals

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building cloud-native systems end-to-end.
• Experience ingesting and processing high volumes of operational data.
• Experience designing and deploying databases at scale; schema, performance, storage tradeoffs.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems, data flow, boundaries, resilience patterns.
• Experience integrating cloud platforms with on-premises or constrained environments.
• Familiarity with SaaS architecture patterns: multi-tenancy, data isolation, subscription delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud architecture for scalable, multi-tenant SaaS products from data ingestion through cloud-hosted services and reporting.
• Define infrastructure patterns for multi-tenancy, data isolation, scalability, and security for growing products.
• Evaluate technology options for long-term maintainability and document architectural decisions.
• Build, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and backend components with the engineering team.
• Design and build data pipelines moving operational data from customer environments into the cloud, securely and at scale.
• Implement CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud operational practices; establish monitoring and reliability.
