Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Access team, leading User Management and Product Access services in a cloud-based micro-services environment on AWS. You will design, build, and operate resilient services, APIs, and frontends that scale across customers.

You will work in a CI/CD cloud setup, implement secure, testable code, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to telemetry, monitoring, and performance improvements with a global engineering group.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience developing distributed cloud applications.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, serverless, events and cloud architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness, Terraform, Docker, EC2).
• Proficiency designing APIs (REST, GraphQL).
• JavaScript languages (Node.js, React).
• Strong testing mindset: unit, integration and system tests.
• Databases: relational and/or NoSQL (MySQL, DynamoDB).
• Caching (Redis).
• Event-driven architecture experience.
• Observability: CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace.
• Strong collaboration in agile/scrum teams.
• Interest in geographically diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain resilient micro-services and APIs on AWS Cloud.
• Work in a CI/CD Cloud environment with distributed components.
• Write high-quality, secure, and testable code.
• Operate production systems (on-call support, deployments, troubleshooting).
• Improve telemetry, reporting, and alerting through metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and share knowledge with peers.
